To help develop some sustainable AR clubs, which produce highly competitive, yet sporting teams, and then retire a happy man!

NAV4 welcomes anyone who wishes to train with us – our NAV4 ‘Paddle Club’ meets once a month on Ullswater (currently second Sunday of the month) to work on our paddle skills. A moderate charge applies for use of boats, etc.

‘Ultra’ and fell runner of many years’ experience.
Competent paddler and ex-BCU Instructor – now just with 4* award.
Competent all round mountaineer – MLC / MIA / SPA
Fall of my bike less often than I did, and don’t walk so much … but it’s not my strongest discipline ..

I helped found UK AR Club, so as a offer a collective voice for UK AR. I was elected Chair, which is a great honour and challenge.

A formal ‘paid up’ membership is necessary in order to have a proper club; benefits may not be immediately apparent but will develop soon;
