UK Adventure Racing Championships

The purpose of the UK Adventure Racing Championships it to:

Develop a championship where Adventure Racing teams and clubs can complete against each other on a national basis.
To grow the numbers of teams competing and improve the standard of Adventure Racing in the UK.
Have a UK Adventure Racing Team Champion.

Rules of the UK Adventure Racing Series:

Teams can select a squad of 8 racers. A racer may race for more than one team in the season.
If a team category is available teams must enter as a mixed team of 4. If no team category is available then the squad must enter as a mixed pair and male pair. The one exception to this is the Coast to Coast adventure race where teams of 3 qualify.
The best 5 scores of the 8 events will qualify for the Championship. The best 2 scores from the 200 point events and the best 3 scores from the 100 point events.
A team must enter a minimum of 3 events to qualify.
Teams should submit their squads through the UKAR contacts page. A list of teams and the squad members will be maintained on the UKAR website.
The UKAR Championship is independent of the UKAR Rankings.
In the pairs events, the winning male pair and mixed pair will receive 50 points each and the remaining points will be allocated as with the 100 and 200 point events.
