UK Adventure Racing Championships

The purpose of the UK Adventure Racing Championships it to:

  • Develop a¬†championship where Adventure Racing teams and clubs can complete against each other on a national basis.
  • To grow the numbers of teams competing and improve the standard of Adventure Racing in the UK.
  • Have a UK Adventure Racing Team Champion.

Rules of the UK Adventure Racing Series:

  • Teams can select a squad of 8 racers.¬† A racer may race for more than one team in the season.
  • If a team category is available teams must enter as a mixed team of 4. If no team category is available then the squad must enter as a mixed pair and male pair. The one exception to this is the Coast to Coast adventure race where teams of 3 qualify.
  • The best 5 scores of the 8 events will qualify for the Championship.¬† The best 2 scores from the 200 point events and the best 3 scores from the 100 point events.
  • A team must enter a minimum of 3 events to qualify.
  • Teams should submit their squads through the UKAR contacts page.¬† A list of teams and the squad members will be maintained on the UKAR website.
  • The UKAR Championship is independent of the UKAR Rankings.
  • In the pairs events, the winning male pair and mixed pair will receive 50 points each and the remaining points will be allocated as with the 100 and 200 point events.
